Project on “Kali” — Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam
1997 — Participated in a project on “Kali” at the Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This is where Singh first developed an interest in issues of migration and migrant labour. Shakti, the Mother and the migrant worker, researched inside an ethnographic museum and made with the Foundation of Indian Artists, Amsterdam.
Holland South Africa Line (HSAL) — Castle of Good Hope
International exchange project with Dutch artists held at the Castle of Good Hope, Cape Town, South Africa. The Holland South Africa Line exchange placed Indian and South African artists inside the Castle of Good Hope — the subcontinent meeting the Cape, slavery meeting indenture, ocean meeting ocean.
Bhoomi — Solo, Gallery Espace
Tools of agriculture and structures of the countryside: rural implements, mud-hut textures and harvest light gathered into a love letter to the soil.
Prussian Blue — Kiran Nadar Museum of Art
Work featured in the group exhibition Prussian Blue at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Noida, curated by Dr Arshiya Lokhandwala (2023) — deep blues against earth, modernist abstraction negotiating folk memory.
