Professional Experience — Residencies, projects, workshops, talks, collaborations, awards and grants. Amsterdam → Cape Town → Singapore → Delhi — migration as method.
STPI — Creative Workshop & Gallery, Singapore
2010 — Artist-in-residence at STPI Creative Workshop & Gallery, Singapore. Three months with master printers; hand-beaten pulp, mineral pigments, paper as terrain. Palette changed, iconography shifted. Works entered the MoMA permanent collection, New York.
Residency story →Greatmore Studios + HSAL, Castle of Good Hope
2001–2004 — Artist-in-residence at Greatmore Studios, Cape Town, with participation in Holland South Africa Line (HSAL) at the Castle of Good Hope, William Fehr Collection. In 2000–2001 the HSAL Dutch exchange placed Indian and South African artists inside the Castle. Midnight Song — handmade paper, palm fans, Gandhi and Mandela, Cape Point oceans, migrants and slavery.

1998–99 — The Search Within, Art between Implosion and Explosion, Pernegg Monastery, Vienna. A cloistered year at the Benedictine monastery of Pernegg: art between implosion and explosion, silence as material.
Residency story →Project on “Kali” — Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam
1997 — Participated in a project on “Kali” at the Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This is where Singh first developed an interest in issues of migration and migrant labour. Made with the Foundation of Indian Artists, Amsterdam.

2002 — Participated in KHOJ International Workshop, Mysore and Bangalore, India. Grinding pigment, beating pulp and forging ideas alongside artists from across India and abroad.
